Three Poems by Danny P. Barbare

Grocery Shopping
Shopping
In
The
Grocery
Store

Pleasantly
Cool

Listening
To
The
Music
Over
The
Intercom

Then,
The
Click
Of
The
Cash
Register.

Boy Scouts at Camp Old Indian
Marshmallow
Moon
Over
The
Campfire

As
The
Lightning
In
The
Sky
Takes
A
Picture
Of
The
Night

And
The
Orange
Coals
Hiss
Like
A
Raccoon

Bacon
Towed
Away
By
Pawprints.

The Janitor
Swinging
A
Mop

Can’t
Nothing
Be
More
Humbling

Slippery
Slop

But
It
Can
Be
Nice

Teaches
You
To
Shine
At
The
Top.
